Spoonflower Design Challenge: Cityscape of my Locale

The design challenge this week is for the designers to create a cityscape of their individual locale.  Right now I’m in Utah, so I chose to create a design of our state capital, Salt Lake City.  There are so many fascinating places in the city, it was hard to narrow it down.  I chose to feature some of the famous historical landmarks, the well known cultural arts, as well as sports and outdoor activities.  This was one of the more tedious projects, just because there was so much to fit together in a pattern.  I’m so happy with how it turned out.  This is what Salt Lake City is like to me.

Vote for my design HERE at the Spoonflower Design Challenge.

This fabric is now available HERE in my Spoonflower shop in all kinds of fun fabric types.  It will also soon be available in gift wrap and wallpaper.  (Below is a sample of the repeated pattern)  I think it would be so fun to make a quilt or blanket out of this one!

Hope you enjoy! 🙂
